Maine Coons with a little island soul.
At Fried Meat Ridge Farm Cattery, Jimmy Buffett's music has been our family’s soundtrack for many years. In case you ever wondered about the cattery names for the kittens & the actual litter names, the inspiration all comes from his song lyrics or JB lifestyle references. Jimmy lived his life like a song till the very last breath. Our cattery is our small tribute to the man with tunes that have inspired the world in many ways.
MEET THE INSPIRATIONAL
In 2021, we decided to begin a Maine Coon cattery.
We purchased Spider John as our first breeding male. Spider John's name originated from the song Ballad of Spider John as a match for Diamond Lil, one of our breeding females. He is the inspiration behind our cattery's logo & brand image (in addition to a county road name & areas we lived while in West Virginia). A beautiful red/cream polydactyl Maine Coon & TICA® registered, Spider John is full of personality & brings so much joy to our lives & cattery.
BIG CATS. BIGGER PERSONALITIES.
